World Leaders Condemn Israel’s Attack on Doha, Call it Violation of International Law
LAGOS — World leaders from across the Middle East, the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, the United Kingdom, France, and prominent international political analysts from Nigeria have strongly condemned Israel’s recent attack on Doha, the Qatari capital, which targeted senior Hamas leaders.
The condemnation, made yesterday, described the strike as a breach of international law and a dangerous escalation in the ongoing Middle East conflict.
Guterres emphasized that no nation has the right to carry out military operations that undermine the sovereignty of another, warning that such actions could destabilize regional and global peace efforts.
Similarly, leaders from the Middle East urged the international community to take urgent steps to prevent further violations, stressing the need for dialogue over aggression.
Political observers in Nigeria also joined in denouncing the attack, noting that international law must be respected to preserve peace and security.
The situation has heightened global diplomatic tensions, with calls for restraint and immediate de-escalation dominating discussions at the United Nations and other international platforms.
