NDLEA Arrests Two Drug Kingpins in Lagos, Seizes Cocaine, Heroin

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced the arrest of two suspected drug kingpins in Lagos following a major operation. According to the agency, operatives stormed the suspects’ hideouts in different parts of the state, recovering a significant quantity of cocaine and heroin.

The NDLEA stated that the arrests were the result of weeks of surveillance and intelligence gathering aimed at dismantling drug trafficking networks in the state. The suspects are alleged to be key players in the supply chain of illicit substances within Lagos and beyond.

Chairman of the agency, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (rtd), commended the operatives for the successful raid, stressing that the NDLEA remains committed to eradicating the menace of hard drugs across the country. He added that the suspects will face prosecution after investigations are concluded.

The development comes as part of NDLEA’s renewed clampdown on drug syndicates, with the agency intensifying efforts to disrupt the flow of narcotics into Nigerian communities.
