Nigeria @65: The Worst is Over, Hope Rising for Nigeria – Tinubu
As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured citizens that the country is on the path to recovery and renewed greatness. Speaking during the national broadcast to commemorate the milestone, the President said though the journey has been tough, the “worst is over” and better days are ahead for Africa’s most populous nation.
Tinubu acknowledged the economic challenges, insecurity, and social hardships Nigerians have faced in recent years but emphasized that his administration’s reforms are beginning to yield positive results.
“We have endured storms and trials, but Nigeria stands strong at 65. The worst is behind us. With resilience and unity, we are charting a new course where prosperity, security, and hope will define our future,” he stated.
The President highlighted progress in power reforms, security operations, and investment drives aimed at reviving key sectors. He assured Nigerians that ongoing policies will soon bring relief, job creation, and inclusive growth.
Tinubu also called for renewed patriotism, urging Nigerians to remain steadfast in building a united nation. “Nigeria’s destiny is bright. Together, we will overcome and rise as a beacon of hope for Africa,” he concluded.
