Edun: Ailing Finance Minister Flown Abroad for Urgent Medical Treatment

Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, has reportedly been flown abroad for urgent medical treatment following an undisclosed ailment. According to sources within the Ministry of Finance, Edun was advised by his doctors to seek advanced care overseas after his health condition deteriorated last week.

Government officials confirmed that the minister had been absent from several key economic meetings, including one on fiscal reforms, due to his health challenges.
