Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria — The immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has commended the incumbent Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, for what he described as exceptional and transformative leadership that has brought visible progress and development to the state.

Dr. Fayemi, who governed Ekiti State from 2018 to 2022, made the remarks on Saturday during the commissioning of the newly constructed Itapa–Ijelu–Omu Road, one of the landmark projects executed under Governor Oyebanji’s administration as part of activities marking his third anniversary in office.

Speaking at the event, the former governor expressed pride in Oyebanji’s performance, noting that his successor’s achievements validate the vision of continuity and shared prosperity that the current administration embodies.
