Regina Daniels Responds to Ned Nwoko’s Allegations, Denies Family’s Involvement in Drug Struggles

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly responded to allegations made by her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, who had recently claimed that some of her family members and close associates hindered her rehabilitation and allegedly contributed to her involvement with illegal substances.

In a series of posts shared via her Instagram stories on Sunday, Regina accused Nwoko of misrepresenting her situation and using her personal challenges to manipulate public opinion.

“Ned, how could you lie so openly and without even small remorse? You know my family has absolutely nothing to do with this,” she wrote. According to her, Nwoko allegedly attempted to alienate her from her family due to the closeness she shares with them.

She acknowledged that she had struggled with substance use in the past, but insisted it was not the core issue affecting their relationship.

“Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us?" she added. “The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs,’ because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media.”

Regina further accused the senator of framing the narrative to cast her family in a negative light.

As of the time of filing this report, Senator Ned Nwoko has not issued a new response to the actress’ statements.

The couple, who married in 2019, have been the subject of public conversation in recent months amid reports of tension and separation.
