Trump Slams Ukraine Leadership Over ‘Lack of Gratitude’ for US Support

Former US President Donald Trump has criticised Ukraine’s leadership, accusing them of showing “zero gratitude” for American military and financial assistance in the ongoing war with Russia.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump described the conflict as a “violent and terrible war” that, he claimed, could have been prevented with “strong and proper US and Ukrainian leadership.” He suggested that the war worsened under the current US administration, asserting that Russia’s invasion was emboldened by what he termed the “Sleepy Joe Biden Administration.”

Trump added that if the 2020 presidential election had not been “rigged and stolen,” there would have been no war in Ukraine during his first term, and that Russian President Vladimir Putin would never have launched an attack.

The former president’s comments reflect his continued criticism of the Biden administration’s foreign policy and highlight his perspective on US involvement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
