Tinubu, Wife Felicitate RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye at 84

Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, have extended warm felicitations to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on the occasion of his 84th birthday.

In a joint tribute issued from the State House in Abuja, the President and the First Lady described the revered cleric as one of Nigeria’s greatest gifts, praising his spiritual leadership, humility, and enduring impact on millions of lives across the country and beyond.

The presidential couple noted that Pastor Adeboye, fondly called “Daddy G.O.,” has remained a spiritual pillar who consistently intercedes for Nigeria and its people through prayers and moral guidance. They commended his dedication to the Christian faith and his unwavering commitment to national development.

According to the message, Pastor Adeboye’s influence goes beyond the pulpit, extending into philanthropy, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment initiatives that have benefited many Nigerians. The First Family highlighted that his teachings over the past five decades have helped shape generations and strengthen moral values in society.

President Tinubu and his wife joined the cleric’s wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, members of the RCCG worldwide, and the Christian community in celebrating what they described as an exceptional life of impact that transcends cultures and national boundaries.

Pastor Adeboye, who has led the Redeemed Christian Church of God since 1981, remains one of Africa’s most influential Christian leaders, with the church expanding to more than 190 countries worldwide.
