Troops of the Nigerian Army have achieved significant victories in their intensified campaign against violent non-state actors across the country.

According to a highly reliable Army source, three terrorists were killed, and a notorious commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)/Eastern Security Network (ESN), Ifeanyi Okorienta, also known as Gentle de Yahoo, was apprehended.

In addition, eleven suspected armed robbers, gunrunners, and violent extremists were arrested in Kaduna, Kogi, and Benue states. The Army also rescued 12 kidnap victims in Katsina, Kogi, and Adamawa states, further demonstrating the military’s commitment to safeguarding lives and maintaining national security.
