Over 13,000 Nigerians Repatriated from 10 Countries, FG Reports.

The Nigerian government has successfully repatriated more than 13,000 citizens from ten different countries, according to a recent report by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The initiative, aimed at providing support for Nigerians stranded abroad due to conflicts, economic challenges, and health crises, underscores the government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens. The repatriated individuals arrived through coordinated efforts involving Nigerian embassies, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). Officials noted that assistance, including temporary shelter, medical care, and reintegration programs, was provided to ensure a smooth return.
