Nigeria TV Info — Tinubu Urges Nigerians to Embrace Patience, Tolerance and Peace for National Growth
Abuja — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians to embrace patience, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence as vital ingredients for the overall development of the nation.
Speaking during a special Jumaat prayer at the National Mosque, Abuja, on Friday, held as part of activities to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, the President emphasized that the country can only achieve the vision of its founding fathers when citizens live in peace, tolerate one another, and work hard collectively.
The President, who was represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, reiterated that while differences will always exist, unity remains the strongest tool for progress.
Quoting him, Idris said: “The President’s message is one of hope, unity, and togetherness. All Nigerians must imbibe these values so that, collectively, we can achieve the progress and prosperity that Mr. President has promised since assuming office.”
He further urged citizens to remain patient, assuring that the administration was working tirelessly to address the nation’s challenges and reposition Nigeria for greatness.
This year’s independence theme is: “Nigeria at 65: All Hands-on Deck for a Greater Nation.”
