Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Parents, Two Children In West Bank Shooting

Israeli forces have shot and killed a Palestinian couple and two of their young children during an incident in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian authorities.

The victims were identified as Ali Bani Odeh and his wife Waad Bani Odeh. The couple were travelling in a vehicle with their children when Israeli troops reportedly opened fire on the car in the town of Tammum in the northern West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, two of the couple's children — five‑year‑old Mohammed and seven‑year‑old Othman — were also killed in the shooting.

Medical officials said the four family members were brought to hospital with gunshot wounds to the head and face.

Two other children who were also in the vehicle at the time of the incident survived. The children, aged eight and eleven, sustained minor injuries caused by shrapnel and were treated by medical teams.

The incident has further heightened tensions in the occupied West Bank, where violence between Israeli forces and Palestinians has escalated in recent months.

Palestinian authorities condemned the shooting and called for an international investigation into the deaths of the family members.

Israeli authorities have not immediately released detailed comments about the circumstances surrounding the shooting at the time of reporting.
