Nigeria TV Info – President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in 2027 received a major boost on Saturday as his Chief of Staff and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, rallied support from the Southern Caucus of the Forum of Former Legislators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

At the gathering, the Southern Caucus of the Forum, made up of former speakers and principal officers of the House of Representatives from the South-West, South-South, and South-East regions, unanimously endorsed Tinubu as their sole presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

The summit, convened by Gbajabiamila at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State, was chaired by former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani.

Also in attendance were some members of the Northern Caucus of former legislators, including a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, signaling wider support for Tinubu’s re-election ambition.
